The Division of Student Affairs is looking forward to welcome Dr. Usama Shaikh from Stonybrook University to lead a workshop on Islamophobia titled Standing Together: Countering and Expelling Islamophobia. This goals of this workshop are:
1) to train and empower WashU students to better understand the needs of our student community, the diversity of the Muslim community, and the challenges of islamophobia, particularly on campus
2) to foster a positive campus climate for all students.
3) ) to understand the structural forces that contribute to the rise of Islamophobia”.
